My friend gave me this .. and I really just thought nothing of it but when I got it going which was so easy after charging it.. I did a few prints off my phone and .. Wow they came out so cool.. I love this now to find more paper...

I ordered this for a work travel printer. My lab often goes to events in austere environments all over the US and we bring a bunch of items out to support various testing -- except a printer. Traditional laser printers require too much power and ink jet printers are expensive. This thermal printer is super low power and a great deal. It has been added to our travel kit along with the folded thermal paper. My coworkers were impressed with the size of the unit. I prefer the folded accordion paper over the rolls. For long term storage I will use my phone to scan any print outs that needed to be kept over a month.

At first I was disappointed I couldn’t use this with my iPhone or iPad (at least I can’t get it to work, iPhone gives an error message BT connection isn’t compatible. As such, I let it sit around for a month or so until I relented and decided to connect it via Bluetooth to an oversized laptop I have (with awful battery power compared to the iPad. I’ve been using it so much now I’ve ordered a 5-pack of the paper rolls it uses. The battery power of the printer has been good, though I suspect I should probably charge it again soon as I’ve printed about 40-50 pages in the past week after charging it again after the initial testing.

I’ve been using it with Excel to print out moving-box labels that are about 6 x 6”. Since the paper is rolled it can be a challenge to straighten it out without crinkling the paper, but I’m getting better at it. Since I’m taping all four sides down when applying to the moving boxes it isn’t too much an issue. But keep in mind, you aren’t feeding flat paper through the back, the paper, supposedly enough for 100-regular sized pages, is on a continuous roll sitting inside the small printers like a calculator would have.

I hope they update their Apple integration so I can take this in my car and use remotely which is what I’d hoped to do, but for now it’s handy enough to keep next to where I’m filling up boxes and creating labels to identify what’s inside.

Love this product. Very clear printing and quick. Only draw back that you have to buy paper for laser printing.

Wow this printer is so convenient! I love how small and portable it is. It works really well. You can only do black and white because of how it works, but the quality is nice. It doesn't come with any paper which I wish it did because you need special paper to use it. The paper isn't expensive, but it would have been nice for it to have some. Overall, excellent choice for the cost.
